Escrow Payment Policies

How your money is protected throughout every transaction on EketSupply.

Payment Timing

The Seeker pays 100% of the quoted price upfront.

Full payment is collected before work begins to ensure Pros are guaranteed compensation for completed work.

Fund Status

Funds are held by Paystack and are not accessible by the Platform or the Pro until completion.

Your money is held in a secure escrow account powered by Paystack, Nigeria's leading payment processor. Neither EketSupply nor the Pro can access these funds until you approve the work.

Approval Window

Once the Pro marks a job "Complete," the Seeker has 72 hours to inspect and "Release" funds.

You have three full days to inspect the completed work, request revisions if needed, or approve and release payment to the Pro.

Auto-Release

If no dispute is raised within 72 hours of completion, funds are released to the Pro automatically.

To protect Pros from indefinite payment delays, funds are automatically released if the Seeker does not respond within the approval window. You will receive WhatsApp reminders before auto-release.

Dispute Resolution

In case of a formal dispute, EketSupply acts as a mediator. A small administrative fee may apply.

If you're not satisfied with the work and cannot reach an agreement with the Pro, our support team will mediate. Filing a dispute immediately pauses the auto-release timer. Disputes are typically resolved within 24-48 hours.

Dispute Kill Switch

Filing a dispute immediately pauses auto-release and locks Pro withdrawals for that job.

When a Seeker files a dispute, the 72-hour auto-release timer is immediately stopped. The Pro cannot withdraw funds for the disputed job until an admin resolves the case. This protects both parties during mediation.

Pro-Guard Policy

If a Pro provides photo evidence of completed work and the Seeker disappears, EketSupply guarantees payout.

We protect Pros from bad-faith Seekers. If a Pro submits completion photos and the Seeker fails to respond or dispute within 72 hours, funds are automatically released. Pros are never left unpaid for verified completed work.

General Terms

1. Platform Role

EketSupply is a marketplace that connects Seekers (buyers) with Pros (service providers). We facilitate transactions but do not directly provide the services listed on our platform. Pros are independent contractors, not employees of EketSupply.

2. Platform Fees

EketSupply charges a 10% service fee on completed transactions. This fee is deducted from the Pro's payout when funds are released. Seekers pay only the quoted price with no additional platform fees. Payment processing fees (Paystack) are absorbed by the platform.

3. Verification

Pros are required to verify their identity by uploading a valid NIN slip or Driver's License. Verified Pros display a badge on their profile. While we verify identity documents, EketSupply does not guarantee the quality of work and encourages Seekers to review ratings and reviews before hiring.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Seekers may cancel a job before work begins for a full refund. Once a Pro has started work, cancellation requires mutual agreement. If a dispute cannot be resolved, EketSupply will mediate and determine fair compensation based on work completed.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not circumvent the platform to avoid fees, submit fraudulent jobs or reviews, harass other users, or use the platform for illegal activities. Violations may result in account suspension and forfeiture of funds.

6. Limitation of Liability

EketSupply's liability is limited to the platform fees collected on any transaction. We are not liable for the quality of work, damages, or disputes between users beyond our role as a mediator.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
